Quick answers
Getting started. In Google Sheets, paste your rows into a tab (or choose Extensions › SpreadEval › More › Add sample data), then choose Extensions › SpreadEval › Browse templates and pick one. Add raters on the People tab.
My sheet isn't in the right shape. SpreadEval needs one row per item to rate, with the column names in row 1. Set up checks this first: if there is a title row, a blank or repeated column name, one JSON column, or several rows per item, it says what to change and offers to make a fixed copy in a new tab. Your original tab stays as it is.
A rater can't open their sheet. Check their email on the People tab. If it was wrong, fix it, clear their "Their sheet" cell, then choose Extensions › SpreadEval › More › Send sheets to new people. They get a new sheet shared with the right address.
The AI judge or AI builder says there is no key. Add your own key (Claude, OpenAI, Gemini or OpenRouter) under Extensions › SpreadEval › More › Set AI API key, or get the Built-in AI plan.
Plans and billing. Free: up to 100 evals and 100 raters per eval, with your own AI key. Built-in AI: $20 a month, with no limits and the AI judge and quality checks built in (fair use). For the paid plan, email support@spreadeval.com. In the sheet, Extensions › SpreadEval › More › Plan and billing shows your plan.
